Israeli soldiers have intensified their military operations in the occupied West Bank, killing two Palestinians in the city of Jenin and its surrounding areas

Targeted Killings in Burqin
The Israeli military confirmed the deaths on Thursday, stating that the two individuals were members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) armed group. They were reportedly wanted for their involvement in a recent shooting attack in Funduq, Qalqilya governorate, which resulted in the deaths of three Israelis and injuries to six others.
According to Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli forces surrounded a house in Burqin, firing at it before demolishing it with a bulldozer.

Mass Displacement in Jenin Refugee Camp
The military assault on Jenin and its refugee camp has entered its third consecutive day, forcing hundreds of Palestinians to flee their homes.

“The Israeli army, using loudspeakers on drones and military vehicles, ordered residents to evacuate the camp,” said Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub to AFP.
The ongoing raids, which began on Tuesday, have resulted in at least 12 Palestinian deaths and more than 40 injuries, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Israel’s ‘Iron Wall’ Campaign
The Jenin operation is part of Israel’s larger “Iron Wall” campaign, launched across the occupied Palestinian territories shortly after a ceasefire in Gaza. The campaign includes targeted raids and demolitions, further intensifying the humanitarian crisis in the region.
