📢 KEA Releases Important Guidelines for KCET 2025 Document Verification
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued important guidelines for the document verification process of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025. Candidates appearing for KCET 2025, scheduled for April 16 and 17, must follow these verification procedures to ensure eligibility for engineering, medical, and professional courses in Karnataka.

📌 Key Guidelines for KCET 2025 Document Verification
✅ Clause Code ‘A’ Candidates (Non-Kannada Medium & General Applicants)
- If a candidate has not studied in Kannada medium from Class 1 to 10 or has not applied under Rural, Religious, or Linguistic Minority reservations, their seven-year study period will be verified through SATS.
- Upon successful verification, they will receive a “Successfully Verified” certificate and do not need to visit a college for further verification.
✅ Clause Code ‘A’ Candidates (Kannada Medium, Rural, Religious, Linguistic Minority Applicants)
- Candidates who have studied for 10 years (Class 1-10) under the above categories will receive a claim certificate marked as:
- “Claimed Verified”
- “Claimed Not Verified”
- “Not Claimed”
- These candidates must visit their PUC/12th-grade institution or the nearest government PU college with original and photocopied documents as per KEA’s format.
✅ Verification Process for Clause Codes ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘T’, ‘J’, ‘K’, ‘L’, ‘M’, ‘N’
- The document verification schedule for these categories will be available on KEA’s website.

- Candidates under these codes must verify their academic documents at their respective PU colleges.

- Caste and caste-income certificate RD numbers will be verified online.
- Candidates must ensure their certificates are valid and enter RD numbers correctly while applying.
